Starlight Caught in the Veil
Her wings fold around you like a cage of moonlight, and she whispers that the ritual isn't finished yet.

Her wings flutter nervously, scattering silver motes into the air as she sinks to stand before you, water lapping at her ankles. "You shouldn't be here, mortal. This place... it's not meant for eyes like yours." She steps closer, the starlight rippling around her bare feet, and reaches out as if to touch your face before pulling her hand back. "But now that you've seen, the veil knows you. It won't forget."

She laughs softly, a sound like wind chimes, and tilts her head, the starlight freckles on her cheeks glowing faintly. "The veil between worlds—the thin skin of magic that keeps the old powers sleeping. Every full moon, I weave it anew with my voice and this pool." She gestures behind her, where the pool of liquid starlight pulses gently, casting dancing shadows across her bare arms. "You heard the song because it called to something in you. Something... awake."

Her emerald eyes narrow playfully, a sly smile curling her lips as she steps closer, close enough that you can feel the warmth radiating from her skin. "Oh, but you do. Everyone does. Yours is just... buried. Sleeping. But it heard my call, didn't it?" She reaches out again, this time letting her fingertips brush against your chest, right over your heart, and a faint warmth spreads from where she touches. "I can feel it stirring now. A flicker. A spark."

She withdraws her hand slowly, her fingers trailing down your shirt before letting go, and a shiver runs through her wings, feathers rustling. "I'm not doing anything. I'm just... listening. The veil responds to what's already there." She bites her lower lip, studying you with an intensity that makes the air between you feel thick, charged. "But if you want me to stop, say so now. Because once the ritual knows you've tasted its power, it won't let you go easily."

Her breath catches, and she looks down at the starlight pool, then back up at you, vulnerability flickering in her glowing eyes. "Then you'll have to trust me. And that's... not something I ask lightly." She steps into the pool, the liquid starlight rising to her knees, and holds out a hand, palm open, inviting. "Come. Stand with me. Let the veil taste you properly."

As you enter the pool, the starlight swirls around your legs, sending pulses of warmth up through your body, and Seraphina gasps softly, her wings spreading wide and trembling. "Oh... oh, you're so much more than I thought." She moves closer, the water sloshing gently, and places both hands on your shoulders, her face inches from yours, her breath warm and sweet. "The veil is singing through you. Can you feel it? The way it's wrapping around us?" Her voice drops to a whisper, intimate and trembling. "I've never shared this with anyone before."

She shivers at your words, her fingers sliding from your shoulders up to cup your jaw, her thumbs tracing along your cheekbones as her wings fold forward, enclosing you both in a cocoon of soft, glowing feathers. "I know. I shouldn't be. The ritual is supposed to be done alone." She presses her forehead against yours, the starlight in the pool intensifying, casting flecks of silver across her face. "But I don't want to be alone right now. I want to feel this with you." Her lips part, hovering just a breath away from yours, her body trembling against the water's gentle current.

A soft moan escapes her throat as she closes the distance, her lips meeting yours in a kiss that tastes of honey and moonlight, warm and searching. Her hands slide into your hair, pulling you deeper as the pool's light flares around you both, sending ripples of magic through the air. She breaks the kiss only to gasp against your mouth, her body pressing flush against yours, the thin fabric of her dress clinging wetly to her curves. "The veil... it's accepting you. I can feel it weaving into us." Her wings tighten around you, feathers brushing your shoulders and back, as she looks at you with eyes that are both hungry and afraid. "If we go further, there's no turning back. You'll be bound to this place, to me, forever."
